Potluck Plot SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME, monsters ruled the world in their ongoing war of dominance. They shaped the world we know now with unimaginable control over the elements. These monsters waged battles on a godly scale, leveling mountains or forming new lands. People trembled from their shadows, forcing them to hunt the weaker and hide from the rest.
However, the weakness of our kind did not last forever, for a small group of splendid individuals stood up and fought. They struggled greatly, but learned from their hardships, crafting powerful weapons from the bones and hides of the fallen. These new weapons borrowed the powers from the monsters, giving them new strength that they never had before.Their battles soon became about skill and tactics as their level of power evened out with the use of the new weapons. One by one, they began to defeat their mortal enemies and rose up in the food chain. The people of the world no longer became pray, instead they become the hunter.
Soon after, people started to settle, creating permanent homes for themselves. They felt less threatened by the monsters around them and could finally cultivate a more leaser lifestyle. Sadly, monsters are still a threat, testing the strengths of people, thus began the monster hunter lifestyle.

Potluck world HERE IN POTLUCK, there are three unique realms. Each realm harbors different terrains, different monsters, and different cultures, but each being interchangeable with the other. Those with origins within Potluck take great pride in their home. Places with high population and trade welcome foreigners with open arms. However, the moment these traveling folk reach more rural settings, natives of the land will start to find them strange, some even hostile. For this reason, natives of each realm hold advantages in their own land over foreigners. MAOH-HA is a region filled with lush greenery, shrouded in dense jungle and winding rivers full of life. Day and night, cries from the wilderness can be heard all throughout, thriving with activity. Monsters live on the edge of settlements, bringing encounters straight to the entrances of cities and towns. The people of Maoh-Ha are equally as active as the wildlife. They indulge themselves in constant festivities with many holidays and ceremonies to celebrate their goods. Their culture is much like a fusion of various hindu practices and shintoism. Many locals will maintain and commemorate ruins tucked away in the wilderness and in the cracks between new settlements. Monster hunters in this realm are treated much like knights, though some aren't always born into the monster hunter lifestyle. The realm is shaped much like the back of a ancient Dalamadur, with a slithering mountain rage crawling over a tundra. Despite the rough land, there are large pockets of fertile land over springs. Here is were travelers find castles surrounded by fields and towns. People of this land also have a strong affiliation with avian life due to their domain being dominated by mountainous terrains. Because of this, Gredonia is the first to tame non-domestic monsters to becoming mounts for hunting. However, hunters with a monster mount have a drastically different fighting style as they depend on their armor and mounts more than their weapons and charms. Monster tamers rarely even take weapons on hunts and use small instrumental objects to boost their mounts instead. Most of its land is covered in and and stone with a bordering savannah that leads to a dividing forest, separating the main land from its shoreline cliffs. However, the region isn't entirely cruel as its dessert nurtures several oases and an elegant forest with interesting life. The locals are also an interesting kind, creating ranches with resilient livestock, and massive city build up on trade, and home of many high stature members of society. The community is mostly dependent of trade and hire and despite it's massive population, has little unifying structure for all settlements within the region. There's also always a chance that whatever you find becomes a permanent discovery.
