At the center of the Guild reception counter is a large book the size of an aptonoth. In its many large pages holds secrets of hunting and a detailed guide on all that is Potluck. Newcomers read through it in turns along with seasoned citizens who wish to recap over forgotten knowledge.
In a secluded room to the side of the main hall is a library like database filled with documents on all the citizens of Potluck. Here you'll find anything relating to characters and character creation.
In this luxurious lobby filled with a cornucopia of people is a wonderful place to get yourself started. Here you can converse with others, plot out adventures and development, or keep track of all your present and past adventures.
Jingye is the capital city of Maoh-Ha. Vendors of all sorts can be found lining the streets of this vibrant city, ready to sell their wares to hunters coming and going from the guild hall ocated near the center of town.
No one knows the origins of these ruins. Located near the outskirts of Jingye, some believe the old, decrepit stone pillars were once the foundations of an ancient civilization. Monsters of all shapes and sizes love to make this area their home.
While Jingye is located in the center of Maoh-Ha, it is surrounded by a large, dense forest known as the forests of Pinyen. More of a jungle than a forest, hunters traverse the thick underbrush for travel and sport alike. If one doesn't stick to the path for the city, one could easily get lost.
Caislean is the capital of Gredonia. The royal family lives within Caislean Castle, which is located upon a hill overlooking the rest of the city. A large wall surrounds the area to protect the castle town and its people from monster attacks, and a marketplace is usually set up near the city's guild hall.
Behind the capital city, one can see the large mountain range known as the Sleibhin Mountains. These mountains are extremely high and are difficult to climb, but hunters frequent the area to hunt the most elusive of monsters. Take come hot drinks though; the snow can easily drain away one's health.
On the opposite side of the mountains are the Lowlands, a long stretch of flat land as far as the eye can see. The land is arid and dry, making it hard for any type of vegetation to grow. However, gentle beasts can be found in herds here, along with the monsters who hunt them.
From a distance, the Snowlands seem to be a desert-like area located on the far side of the mountain range. While the east holds the plains, the west is made up of nothing but dunes of snow brought down from the moutains themselves. Over the years, avalanches have created this unique landscape, and snow-loving creatures call this frigid wasteland home.
Vidana is the capital city of Balbailee Hameo. It is a large, bustling city settled near the edges of a large river used for trade and other means. More of a port city than a capital, many people travel here to browse foreign wares brought by all sorts of people.
Surrounding Vidana is a large expanse of flat, grassy land known as Vidana Plains. Herdbeasts are bred here, but the open air allows flying monsters of all sorts to prey upon the animals - and people - who live and work here.
To the north of Vidana are the Northern Cliffs, an area of mountain-like plateaus and cliffs that house all sorts of monsters. It is a very popular hunting spot, and flying wyverns migrate to the area every few months. Below the cliffs spans a large body of water, which is said to be the home of a massive underwater creature. However, no one has ever seen anything of such size living within the water's depths.
To the south of Vidana is Selvien forest. This forest isn't much different from other forests...until one looks up at the trees. For some unknown reason, the trees here have grown to enormous size, some towering more than two hundred and fifty feet tall.
The Dunes is a large expanse of sandy desert that can be found to the west of Vidana. Unlike most deserts, however, this area stays hot constantly. Regardless of time or season, the sun continually beats down upon the sand, so bring some cool drinks if you plan on staying for longer than a few minutes.
This place is entirely up to you. It can be a new environment or a secret place hidden within the many existing planes of the three regions. So long as these new and uncovered places match with the set world of Potluck.
This is where roleplayers can come to chat about anything, so long as it stays PG-13. If you're new, come introduce yourself! Or if you're going to be leaving for certain reasons and wish to inform your fellow roleplayers, there's a place for that too.
